Threat of Disease in The Menopause

It was not easy getting old, especially for women. After menopause, the threat of various diseases arise. Health problems were mainly associated with decreased levels of estrogen in the body.What are the long-term effects to health due to menopause?- OsteoporosisOne of the long-term consequences of menopause is the loss of bone density sustainable and ultimately can lead to discouragement or wrist fractures hip and back.Men and women will reach peak bone density at the age of 20 years. The loss of bone density associated with age starting around the age of 30. Therefore, it is important to take action as early as possible to avoid the occurrence of osteoporosis.- HypertensionWomen in the age of menopause are also at risk of developing high blood pressure (hypertension) which can cause strokes and heart attacks if not treated. Increased blood pressure is one of the most important risk factor of coronary heart disease and stroke.- Cardiovascular diseaseAll women, especially after menopause, need to be alert and recognize the symptoms of a heart attack because the hormone estrogen decrease. These hormones are protective and make blood vessels wider and reduce coronary heart disease risk. However, when the hormone estrogen decline, the risk of heart disease increased two-to three-fold.Menopause is a critical time in the life of a woman approaching middle age who need a proper and appropriate. The doctors recommend that menopausal women to change their lifestyle, such as controlling weight, increasing physical activity, and avoid stress.One way to cope with menopausal symptoms are quite effective is the estrogen hormone therapy that aims to replace the decline in estrogen that occurs during menopause.
